Pantanal is a forest in the heart of South America and most of it is in Brazil. It is the largest wetland in the world, covering 140,000 to 195,000 square kilometres (75,000 sq mi).  During the rainy season (from November to May) over 80% of Pantanal’s floodplains are submerged, its result in one of the world's most biologically diverse collection of aquatic plants and animal species. It is an ecosystem as important as the Amazon Rainforest. In Pantanal, it is easy to be close of crocodiles, giant otters, anacondas, caimans, hawks, Macaws, Marsh deer, Tapirs, egrets, herons, monkeys and ibis. Make sure your cameras are handy!
